OFFSHORE TROLLING express

Here it comes: can you go trolling for a few hours and still be successful? The answer is plain and simple, yes you can! For people that may do not have the time for spending several hours outside due to job situation, family or just don't want to be 8+ hours on the sea, this is a good way to try your luck in our rich waters. Of course, the longer the trip, the higher the chances, but the last years showed us that we definitely can catch good sized fish a small amount of time. This one is one for the luckiest and busiest amongst you.

We will target little tunny, mediterranean spearfish and several other coastal surface predators.

BILLFISH deluxe

This is probably our best, our star, our speciality, our main business, our favorite. The mediterranean spearfish. The last years we have seen a rising population due to protection programs and we have been catching and safely releasing hundreds of them every season. With days of 10 and more landed fish, we show that our waters in the east coast host the vast majority of the population, with quite a percentage of the catches exceeding the 2m in length and the wonderful 25Kg mark. The average lies within the 1,5m in length and about 10Kg.

Every billfish angler knows how to value this species and we are eager to accomplish your dream of adding one of these to your collection! So get ready for the artistic jumps and the frenetic runs of these blue metallic arrows of the mare nostrum! The fastest fish out there!

OFFSHORE TROLLING

While blue water trolling, depending on the time of the year, you can catch a lot of different game species! From May to July you'll find enormous schools of white tuna, also called albacore or long fin tuna. Very good during the fight and in the kitchen!

Year round you will have a chance of getting mahi mahi, also called dorado or llampuga, the best time for the bigger ones is June to September and September to November you'll get them in higher numbers but smaller size. Perfect for light gear and fun!

And if we're trolling waters that deep, you always have some surprises like big mahi mahi, spearfish, bluefin tuna, bonitos and swordfish!

BLUEFIN TUNA

Having the vast pelagic waters of the Mediterranean in front of our doorstep and a resident bluefin tuna population rising, we catch these colossal tunids year round. The average size is about 80Kg, which will give you a hell of a fight on our custom stand up rods. Quick pic and send them back on their journey, what more do we have to say about our BFTs? Let's get your knees shaking.

BLUEFIN TUNA XXL

Once a year, every year, these pelagic giants arrive to spawn in the clean waters of the Mediterranean. For this opportunity, we displace our fleet to the places where these majestic creatures are. From the end of May until beginning of July you will have the chance to hook one of these freight trains and test your strength on stand up gear, like a real angler. To give up is not an option, but we will assist you with some fresh water and candy. This is the fish where your body says no, but your heart says yes! Fish over 350Kg are caught every year and the average is about 200Kg while fishing when these monsters are around.

NIGHT FISHING

Do you want to feel the thrill of going out at night, dropping the anchor and catching the various fish that inhabit the dark depths? Yes, we want it too, because it's spectacular. The most common species to catch here are forkbeards, red scorpionfish, conger eel, moray eel, different types of rays up to 10Kg, blackspot sea bream and various arts of squid, which we will prepare in the kitchen on board.

We very often also get hit by bluntnose sixgill sharks up to 500Kg, commonly about 100Kg, that put a hell of a fight!

And if the moon is at it's fullest on the sky, prepare yourself for some swordfish action! These warriors of the depth come into the shallower for feeding on squid and bait, and we are prepared for that sword on the bad end of the gladiator!

SWORDFISH

Every full moon phase, this pelagic gladiators come to the shallower waters to feast on squid and baitfish. Whenever we get the chance we head out to the grounds and battle some of these majestic creatures, before tagging and releasing them again into the abyss. While fishing for swordfish we also have a good chance of getting a shark or even rays that put on a good fight on our custom tackle.

THE FRENCH FORT expedition

Well, every time we start describing this place we go mad, no explanation makes justice to it. This is the place to be. This underwater plateau located 50 nautical miles from our home port is inhabited by real giants of the ocean. Coming up from over 2000m to just short of 90m of depth, this elevation in the middle of nowhere hides an astonishing fishery for those who dare to stay outside without seeing land, using their phones or even having access to the internet. It's a place reserved to real anglers, seekers of adrenaline and adventurers. Big bluefin tuna, swordfish, six gill shark, dogtooth grouper, big squid and a large etc. that you will discover when we arrive at this unreal place on earth. We are as desirous as you when it comes to fishing here, no doubt.

AMBERJACK AND DENTEX

Slow trolling for these beasts near the shore is an absolute epic fishery! They both fight like the devil as soon as the hook is set! We will start the day catching some bait, what will be, depending on the season, either squid or little tunny. As soon as the livewell has plenty of bait, we head to our grounds and wait for the rod to bend. Such a traditional yet technical fishing is always worth the time spent outside! You can also get some surprises like groupers or the well known john dory.
